Tuition is paid monthly based on a 52-week year. A tuition deposit is due at the time of registration. The amount of the deposit and when it is applied to your account is dependent upon the child’s age. Please see specific information on the fee schedule. All tuition deposits are non-refundable.

The supply fee is billed annually in August and due in full by September 1st. Families joining The Young School after September 30th will be charged a pro-rated fee from their start date through August. This fee is non-refundable.

Both fees cover a 12-month period from September through August.

Your monthly payment will be processed using Tuition Express. Tuition Express allows us to process tuition and fee payments safely, quickly, and efficiently. Once enrolled in Tuition Express, your tuition and fee payments will be paid automatically and on time. You will receive instant email notification of payments by signing up at www.tuitionexpress.com. Your personal account information is safe with Tuition Express---safer, in fact, than paying by check. Automated payments have proven safer than writing checks and eliminate potential check fraud or identity theft. Enrollment forms and further information can be found in your registration materials.

A fee of $25.00 will be charged for any returned payments for any reason. The Young School reserves the right to require a cashier’s check or money order to replace any returned item.

Payments are due by the first (1st) of the month and payments received after the eighth (8th) of the month will be subject to a late charge of one and one-half percent (1½%) per month. The Young School reserves the right to require payment in the form of a cashier’s check or money order for past due accounts. The Young School reserves the right to terminate enrollment if an account becomes 30 days past due.

Family Discount Families that have siblings in The Young School program will receive a 10% discount on the 2nd and 3rd child, with the discount applied to the lower tuition rate(s). Late Pick-Up Fees All students are to be picked up by the close of day, 6:00 pm. Students picked up after 6:00 pm will be assessed a late pick-up fee. The assessment is $15.00 for the first 10 minutes or any portion thereof and $2.00 per minute thereafter. In the event that the school closes early for any reason, whether scheduled or unscheduled, the late assessment begins at the time of early closing. No Tuition Reduction There is no reduction in tuition for: absenteeism, holidays, non-academic days, or school closings due to inclement weather. Vacation Credit The Young School allows one vacation week per year. For this week, you will receive a tuition credit of half the weekly tuition rate. The year is based on the child’s start date, not the calendar year. Please notify the school in writing before using your vacation credit.
