Welcome to Young School of Ellicott City! Our school is conveniently located on Bethany Lane here in Ellicott City.

We're pleased to offer programming for infants through pre-kindergarten with flexible full- and part-time schedule options to meet your family’s needs. Classes are taught by our dedicated teaching staff who participate in ongoing professional development and training, including maintaining current Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certifications.

Martina Saines, Director

Education: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education

I have 11 years at Learning Care Group where I have taught in all classrooms from infant and toddler to school-age programming. Throughout my ECE career I have served as a teacher, team lead, assistant director and director. I love to have fun with not only the children but the staff as well! In my spare time I love to watch football!

Frances Sedghi, School Education Manager

I began my journey with the Young School in 2000, at the Kings Contrivance location! I was immediately inspired by the philosophy and the deep respect for the child and their environment, guided by the belief that children are deserving of beautiful, inspiring spaces that spark curiosity and wonder. Before moving into my current position, I taught at all levels from infancy to Preschool, as well as Cottage Director.
